暮らしの中で、音が風景になる場所

私たちlistudeは、「音を届ける」だけでなく、「音が響く場」をつくることを大切にしています。 山梨・北杜市、標高約900mの森に佇む約5,000㎡の敷地に、私たちの活動拠点があります。

敷地内には東西に約30m伸びる建物があり、その中に試聴室、音楽ホール、工房、事務所が機能的に統合されています。 その建物の側面には、自然の地形と植生をそのまま活かした「森のホール（Forest Hall）」が広がり、人工と自然のあわいに音が息づいています。

また、試聴室と音楽ホールには、EMC設計によるオーディオ専用電源を導入し、音響機器の性能を最大限に引き出すためのインフラ設計がなされています。

この場所は、単なるスタジオや工房ではありません。 音と空間、人が有機的につながり合うことで、豊かな循環が生まれる。そんなおもいで、この拠点を育て続けています。

A Place Where Sound Becomes Part of Everyday Life’s Scenery

At listude, we value not only “delivering sound,” but also creating “spaces where sound resonates.” Our base of activities is located on a roughly 5,000 m² site nestled in a forest at an altitude of approximately 900 meters in Hokuto City, Yamanashi.

On the property, there is a building stretching about 30 meters from east to west, functionally integrating a listening room, music hall, workshop, and office. Along the side of this building, the “Forest Hall” spreads out, making use of the natural terrain and vegetation just as they are, allowing sound to breathe in the borderland between the artificial and the natural.
(The architectural design was undertaken by “Hitotomori,” an architectural firm based in Nara.)

In addition, both the listening room and the music hall are equipped with audio-dedicated power supplies designed by EMC, providing infrastructure to maximize the performance of the audio equipment.

This place is not simply a studio or workshop. By connecting sound, space, and people organically, a rich cycle is created. With this idea in mind, we continue to nurture this base.

リビングやダイニングを模した天井高4mの空間では、listudeのスピーカーを実際の生活空間に近いかたちでご試聴いただけます。

大きな窓からは森の風景が広がり、移ろう光とともに、音楽と景色を静かに味わえるひとときが生まれます。

開放感ある空間と、EMC設計による電源環境により、極めて静かで澄んだ音場を実現。 スペックや数値ではなく、「音のある暮らし」の感触を、五感で確かめていただける場所です。

listening room | Experience Sound Close to Everyday Living

In this 4-meter-high space designed to resemble a living or dining room, you can listen to listude speakers in an environment that closely mimics an actual living space.

Through the large windows, the forest landscape unfolds, and with the changing light, you can quietly savor both music and scenery in a peaceful moment.

The open atmosphere and an EMC-designed power environment create an exceptionally quiet and pure sound field. Rather than focusing on specs or numbers, this is a place where you can truly experience the feel of “life with sound” with all your senses.

Forest Hall ｜ 音が風景になる場所

建物の西端に静かに佇む、listudeの屋内ホール。 7mの天井高が生む余白と、音響に配慮した素材・形状設計、さらにEMC設計による専用電源環境により、 静寂と響きが自然に共存する、音響空間がつくり上げられています。

私たちはこの場所を「森のホール」と名付けました。 暮らしから一歩離れた場で、音が空間をゆっくりと変容させていく。 沈黙さえも音楽となる、自由で実験的な場です。

Forest Hall | Where sound becomes landscape

Nestled quietly at the western edge of the building, Forest Hall is listude’s indoor performance space. A generous 7-metre ceiling, materials and geometries selected for acoustic performance, and a dedicated power system designed with electromagnetic-compatibility (EMC) measures combine to form an acoustic environment where silence and resonance naturally coexist.

We call this place “Forest Hall.” Set a step away from everyday life, it is a space in which sound slowly transforms the room. A place for freedom and experimentation—where even silence becomes music.

workshop ｜ 手と耳が響きあう場所

建物の東側1階には、スピーカーの設計・製作を行う工房と、日々の運営を支える作業スペースが併設されています。

すべてのスピーカーがここから生まれ、木工から音響測定、記録、発信まで、listudeの営みのすべてがこの空間に集約されています。

「音を聴く」という行為の背景には、地道な観察と、繰り返される手の試行があります。 ここは、そうした時間の積層──耳と手が交差し、音の風景が静かに立ち上がる場所です。

workshop | A Place Where Hands and Ears Resonate

On the first floor on the east side of the building, there is a workshop for designing and producing speakers, as well as a workspace that supports daily operations.

All of our speakers are created here, and every aspect of listude’s activities—from woodworking to acoustic measurements, documentation, and communication—is concentrated in this space.

Behind the act of “listening to sound” lie steady observation and repeated manual experimentation. This is a place where such layers of time accumulate — where ears and hands intersect, and the landscape of sound quietly emerges.

Forest Stage ｜ 自然と共演する音の舞台

建物側面に広がる、樹々と斜面に抱かれた屋外ステージ。 人工構造を最小限に抑え、地形・風・木々の反射とともに音を育てる野外音響空間です。

ステージを見下ろすヴィンヤード型の客席と、長さ30mに及ぶ音響反射壁──これらの要素が、自然と音響設計の細やかな呼応を可能にします。

ここは建築を越えて「音の風景」を立ち現わせる場所。 listudeの新たな挑戦を象徴する舞台です。

long the building’s flank, an outdoor stage opens onto trees and sloping terrain. With artificial structures kept to a minimum, this open-air acoustic space cultivates sound in dialogue with the landscape, the wind, and reflections from the trees.

Vineyard-style seating overlooks the stage, and a 30-metre acoustic reflecting wall—together they enable a finely tuned correspondence between nature and acoustic design.

More than architecture, this place reveals itself as a “soundscape” and stands as listude’s emblem of a new creative challenge.
