Conventional speakers are designed to deliver sound in a specific direction. In contrast, scenery is a speaker that gently fills the entire space with sound in all 360 degrees, like ripples spreading across the surface of water.

Rather than perceiving “where the sound is coming from,” you feel as if the space itself is resonating. It is this kind of experience that the structure of scenery creates.

Sound Spreads in All Directions:
A Shape Closest to a Sphere

Scenery is based on a regular dodecahedron, the three-dimensional shape with the highest symmetry. By combining this with a unique speaker arrangement, it delivers sound evenly to every corner of the space.

This mechanism is technically known as an “omnidirectional (non-directional) structure.” It enables a way of listening that is not bound by location, something that was difficult to achieve with conventional speakers.

Creating a Core of Sound:
Coaxial Design

Not only does scenery fill the space with sound, it also maintains a solid “core of sound.” This is achieved by incorporating the concept of a “coaxial structure.”

The tweeter, which produces high frequencies, and the port, which supports low frequencies, are aligned on a single axis, with mid-low speakers arranged around them. Thanks to this design, even within the rich sound field that spreads throughout the space, the sound image remains clear and well-defined without becoming blurred.

Resonant Materials

The cabinet of scenery uses birch plywood. This material offers the ideal balance of hardness and absorbency for speakers, producing a natural resonance.

The surface finish uses natural beeswax. Its texture and appearance deepen over time, allowing the feel of the wood to blend naturally into everyday life.

You can choose from six types of exterior veneers:
Birch, Black Cherry, Walnut, White Oak, Koto Gray, and Bog Oak.

Connect Easily with Standard Audio Equipment

scenery requires no special devices or power supplies, and can be connected to your amplifier using ordinary speaker cables.

Terminals are binding posts compatible with banana plugs, so in most cases you can connect directly to your existing amplifier. With no need for networks or adjustment devices, the circuit is kept to a minimum, ensuring pure, uncolored sound.

Installation Tailored to Your Space

Due to its design, scenery is not intended for floor placement (using a stand can be discussed); we recommend ceiling mounting.

Ceiling installation keeps the area around the speakers unobstructed, allowing sound to fill the entire space naturally. It also minimizes unwanted reflections from floors and walls, maximizing the speaker’s original clarity and transparency. In addition, ceiling mounting helps the speakers blend seamlessly with your interior and reduces visual impact.
